[Friends] Christmas Eve is Today

Reminder:

 

Xmas Eve service at the Franklins, 1365 Bossler Ln. in O'Fallon. 5-6 eats
and fellowship. From 6-7 pm a simple Vigil of the Nativity which is composed
of carols, prayers, and scripture readings (no sermon), and leadership of
the service will be shared among all present.

 

The service is rooted in the Vigil created by our sister Presbyterian church
in the Czech Republic (the Czech Brethren) which began back in the 1400s and
even continued on as a part of secret house-based worship services held
during the time of the Soviet rule.

 

Come, let us celebrate the birth of Jesus, God with us and the One who
saves.
