Hello Again,

Wow! Two emails in two weeks. I'm wearing myself out...:-)

- Pat Ashby would like us to know that in addition to the hot potato lunch
on this Sunday, everyone should come with sharpened pencils and a keen mind
as there will be a test!! Maybe even a prize or two!! Also, don't forget
it is the first Sunday of the month for Food Pantry items.

- John Will mentioned the upcoming performance of Mozart's Requiem, by the
Masterworks Chorale, at 7:30pm, on March 11th, in St. Peters of Belleville.
The ticket prices are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. We can discuss
going as a group or just going solo, if you are interested.

- Remember to clip those Box Tops for Education as Gerry mentioned. They
certainly help the Kemmerer Village.

- The Women of Faith Conference returns to STL on 15-16 June. The
conference package price is $119 if reserved by 6 April. Please let Gerry
know by this Sunday if you would like to attend.

- If you haven't or forgot to sign up to bring something for the Potato (or
Potatoe as Dan would spell it :-)) fellowship and you are interested, please
call Carol. I'm sure she will be glad to add you to the list.

- I've attached the recent letters from our Compassion International
Children. Please take time to read how much love these children have and
how difficult their lives can be. Alex talks of roaming gangs. Your
contributions are affecting the lives of these children of God and they send
their prayers as well as ask for ours.

- I visited Charlotte yesterday. It is the first time I've seen her up in
her chair and she looked good that way. I mentioned she had a hairdresser
appointment after I left last Thursday. Friday when I visited, she was in
bed and I really couldn't tell it had been dome, but yesterday I thought she
looked wonderful. She was very chatty and we covered everything from her
school age challenges growing up to her travels to California and Florida.
She does seem obsessed with the tribulations of Anna Nicole Smith. I guess
it is because of the bombardment on her TV. On a note of concern, her blood
sugar is very high and that seems to be getting attention from the staff.
It is because of her inactivity. On a positive note, she was adamant that
she is walking out of there next week. I'm glad she is hoping, but frankly
I have my doubts. We can pray though.
Finally, please don't construe my optimism regarding how she looks and acts
as an indication that she is our former Charlotte. Quite the opposite, she
is far from it. I'm only saying that she has improved dramatically from when
I saw her at St. Elizabeth's.

- Whew, I'm worn out...I'd better hit the course to relax...

Cheers,

Rick
