[Friends] Invitation to Christ

As the Sunday bible study group delved into the Presbyterian Study Catechism
during Lent, we had some great questions and discussion concerning
Sacraments, especially Holy Communion (a.k.a The Lord's Supper or The
Eucharist/Thanksgiving), and what they are and mean for us, as well as how
the sacred acts should be practiced.

 

The last General Assembly of The Presbyterian Church in the USA passed a
great study document on the Sacraments and encouraged each congregation,
presbytery and synod to study it and move toward implementing it's deeply
scriptural and theological grounded practices which revives the vision
Calvin, the founder of our Reformed Christian tradition, had for the Church.
