14th Annual Salute to Scott Day in the Community Park

New Creation has volunteered again to hand out water. 

 

The difference this year, as the Leadership Team discussed at our last
meeting, we will be that we will be there more to hand out water, and less
to try and 'sell' our brand of 'church'. 

 

What does that mean? Less set up, more attention on a ministry of presence
and hospitality. We will have some cards ready to hand out, and perhaps a
DVD. Other than that, we are there to give cold water until it is gone.
However, we may want to get some colorful t-shirts to wear ( NCPC t-shirt
task force, activate! )

 

The chamber is working on getting some donations of water. Other than that,
we need ice, perhaps get some more water from Sams, and containers like last
year to hold the water. . . and shade for those us us hanging out to hand
out water.

 

Email Haley or me if you are willing to: (A) work the tent (B) donate ice
(C) donate water (D) donate coolers (E) donate a shade tree (F) want a
t-shirt, participating or not [also tell us what size]

 

Opening activities/lunch starts at 11:00 am, Ice cream sundae at 2 pm.
E-vent Closes at 3 pm.
