Here are the updates for this weeks events:

 

Supper Club at the Japanese Gardens on Regency, this Friday at 7pm. (Google
map for location: http://maps.google.com/maps?tab=wl
<http://maps.google.com/maps?tab=wl&hl=en&ie=UTF-8> &hl=en&ie=UTF-8 ). Head
count so far: the Hoyts, the Franklins, the Wills, Mary Halloran and
companion, and the Selbert-Boyd posse. Total potential so far: 11-13. Have I
missed anyone???

 

Next week:

 

Theology on Tap (a.k.a. hanging with the pastor at a pub). Friday the 24th,
at 7pm. Open to pub suggestions, even going across the river into St Louis.
Head count so far: Mat Conway and I. Remember: Holy Mischief. . . who can
say no?

 

Up coming soon, very soon:

 

Alpha with a dash of Presbyterian for those who haven't gone through the
program before, for those interested in becoming 'official' members of New
Creation and on the rolls of the Presbytery of Giddings-Lovejoy (if you
haven't done so already), those who want a refresher, and those inspired by
the last time to help organize and lead. If you are interested, tell me
about your schedule and times best for you. Remember Alpha normally includes
a meal. . . so what night do you not want to cook? Once I have a head count
and schedules, we will go from there. We are shooting to begin in September.
So far the head count or those who asked to be included are: the Dietrichs,
Cheryl Callis, and Karen Selbert. Who have I missed? For more info on Alpha,

Finally, once we receive the minutes from last weeks Administrative
Commission meeting you will see we are being encouraged to plan a party,
with worship included, to celebrate the future of NCPC mission and ministry
in O'Fallon and my arrival as pastor. The invitees are to be the whole
Presbytery. So party planners, get your creative groove on and any ideas,
shoot them to Gerry and we will move from there.
