[New Creation Office Administrator]

 Just a couple of updates for you all.

1.??  Erlene's sister, Ellen, will undergo some addtional chemotherapy in an attempt to lessen the swelling of the tumors around her colon.? This will hopefully relieve some of the distress Ellen has been experiencing.

2.? A reminder about the Congregational Potluck on Sunday Aug.5th.? We will be building taco salads, and there are still several items folks can volunteer to bring.? Be sure to see the sign up sheet on Sunday, or email me to find out what we need.? 

We are going to try to do this quarterly and call it a Prayer and Planning Potluck.? This month, we will discuss our Cookies and Crafts with Santa, and how we might revise the event.? However, do not limit yourself to sharing ideas about Cookies and Crafts with Santa.? Any ideas about outreach, mission projects, etc. can be discussed on this day.? So put on your thinking caps!

3.? O'Fallon Homecoming will be Aug 10-12.? This means we get the "boot" from Katy Cavins.? I have? us scheduled for the O'Fallon Public Safety meeting room for Sunday Aug 12.? Mark your calendars.

4.? Don't forget about the Golf Scramble coming up in August as well.? The date is Saturday August 11.? Contact Rick Cobb or Pastor Boyd to Rsvp for this event.? This is a co-ed event, so it is open to all floggers (that's golfers spelled backwards....well, sort of!)

5.? As you know, Jeff and I will be moving in the next few months.? Please keep your ear to the ground for anyone who may want a part time job with flexible hours.? Refer them to Pastor Boyd if you find someone interested.
