[Members] Update on Barb Nute

Dear New Creation Family,

I received an email from Gary Ashby regarding Barb Nute.  Gary spoke to her
husband (Gene) to get an update on her condition.  Bottom line: We still
don't have definitive news regarding the cancer (I'll explain later) and at
this time she does not want visitors or cards.  
Here's how we got to this point.  Barb had some stomach problems shortly
after returning from their Arizona trip. She went to the doctor and they
conducted some tests, but the problems persisted.  She had a cat scan, which
showed a large mass on her pancreas and a smaller one on her liver.  She had
a biopsy and that is when she emailed us about a potential problem. 
There are several other tests, including an MRI the doctors want to do but
Barbara won't agree to them because she suffers from claustrophobia. She was
admitted to Barnes.  She is not eating much, won't talk much.
Understandably, she is weak and when she does speak, it is not clear what
she is saying. 
They are waiting for this coming Tuesday when she finally sees the
oncologist at Barnes at 9:00 am. Gary assured him that any one of us in the
church would do anything to help.  

Since Gary has established a good rapport with Gene, hopefully, he will let
Gary know about Barb's progress and any help they need.  Please continue
praying for Barb!
