For the past few weeks, Mike Hoyt has asked for prayers for the daughter
of a colleague of ours, Kelly Eastman.  Below I have cut and pasted
emails from our colleague that show the gravity of this illness and
treatment, so you will have a better idea what you are praying for.
Also, you might want to subscribe to her site on CaraingBridge so you
can stay up to date on how Kelly and her family are doing.  Thanks for

I came home last night and Mary Pat (Kelly's Mother) has been there all
day today.  She indicated Kelly has been feeling nauseous again today
due to the large number of drugs she is getting.  She is in and out,
very loopy, but all in all, she is tolerating the mess so far.  She gets
a break tomorrow before she gets the bone marrow on Thursday, but she
will be at her lowest as well for 2-3 weeks until her body accepts the
transfusion.  This is the most important period in the process because
Mother Nature takes over and the doctors can only prevent sickness, not
acceptance.  She is in GREAT hands, very professional and qualified
people working at Cardinal Glennon.

for
my oldest, Danielle who is giving her Bone Marrow to save her sister's
life.  That happens Thursday, Danielle gives and Kelly receives.  Also,
